Email Server

Email can be accesses through traditional email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozzila Thunderbird and many others. In addition to being able to access email through a client, email is also accessible through Groupware which is ideal people who travel or work from home etc as this can be accessed from any device that has an Internet connection and a web browser.

As well as providing email services you also have the option of being able to access calendars, contacts and tasks within Microsoft Outlook either on a personal or group basis.

Groupware

Groupware enables users to access email, calendars, contacts & tasks securely through any device (PC, Laptop, Mobile Phone etc) that has a web browser and Internet connection. This enables users to be productive in the office, on the move and even at home.

Mobility

A wide range of mobile phones, PDA's and Blackberry devices are supported which enables the synchronisation of email, contacts, calendar and tasks.

Synchronisation for your BlackBerry is now possible through native support of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

File Server

The file server provides a central location where users are able to store documents. The file server can be customised to provide a general store, individual store or group store along with the relevant security permissions.

Fax Server

Faxes can be sent directly from the users desktop either through email (simply fax the email or attachments to faxnumber@faxserver.co.uk) or by printing a document directly to the fax server.

Note - For the fax server to operate it will need to be connected to a phone line and for users who wish to be able to print documents to the fax server a small application will need to be installed on the desktop/laptop.

Website, Intranet & Business Application Server

Web Caching & Internet Accelerator

A web cache stores a copy (or partial copy) of web pages that have already been downloaded locally on the appliance. This provides benefits in terms of reducing bandwidth and speeding up page download times as this content is already held locally for viewing on additional occassions.
